First Day of School

Our day started at 5:30 am. The girls jumped out of bed bright eyed and bushy tailed. Showered and cooked breakfast. 1st bus came at 7 and the 2nd came at 8.

I cleaned up the breakfast dishes, did some laundry and took a nap and patiently awaited their return. I enjoyed my quiet time alone.

They were home by 4 and 5 we had dinner then I sat down for my 2 hour session of the joyous paperwork that is always accompanied with the 1st day of public school.

We talked about their day which they seemed to enjoy but it is still the beginning. They made lots of friends and met a bunch of new people. I do enjoy the fact that the school system here contacts via email so you can communicate with the teachers at any given time.

Today started a little slower with not so much enthusiasm from the girls. LOL
