Life Changes

I feel like I’m being juvenile but I have been comparing myself to my friends. I know that we all chose different life paths but I look back and I’m not where I thought I’d be at this point in my life.

You know as a teenager you map out your life with your hopes and dreams. Good education, happily married, kids, good job making lots of money and own a home. I’m 2 out of 5  happily married with kids.

We’ve been renting for almost 2 years and I feel like we are throwing away our money. What I pay in rent is a mortgage payment. So I have decided that I want to buy a house. I am working on my credit now so hopefully that is an obtainable dream for me and not an  impossible one.

I have put the steps in motion today. I spoke with a loan officer to get the ball rolling to see what we qualify for if anything. I’ll keep ya posted.
